The key argument concerns the famous moment when the object appears to rotate. Supporters of the glare explanation argue that the rotation is not the craft turning like a flying disc. This explanation has strengths. It addresses the most visually striking feature of the clip: the apparent rotation without an obvious change in flight path. However, the glare explanation is not universally accepted. Critics argue that it relies on assumptions about the target’s distance, orientation, and infrared signature that cannot be confirmed from the public video alone. Claims of unusual movement
